Join us for the TECNA 2024 DC Fly-in, sponsored by ArentFox Schiff in Washington, DC, on April 9 & 10, 2024. W'll bring together members of Congress and key federal stakeholders with leaders in the tech community to discuss policy priorities. Members will have an opportunity to discuss issues, rules and regulations affecting the tech community, hear from Congressional and committee members, and get an inside-the-beltway perspective on upcoming legislative priorities. It is also a networking opportunity, giving you valuable connections with peer business and federal leaders.

The morning’s session will focus on Congress’s and the Biden Administration’s focus on artificial intelligence and what we can expect in the future. The session will also include insights into current government regulatory actions that may impact small- to medium-sized innovation companies including: The Federal Trade Commission’s proposed changes to the HSR Premerger Notification Rule and Merger and Acquisition Guidelines as well as proposed framework to exercise March-In Rights under the Bayh-Dole Act. Additionally, TECNA Member CEOs and Executive Directors are invited to attend this CEO Mini Retreat following the Fly-In also in DC April 10 & 11. This retreat is a shortened-version of our fall CEO Retreat to allow for a touch-point for our member CEOs/EDs to connect in-person and engage in professional development. Who should register for the fly-in? Each individual attending must register, whether tech council staff or a member company representative. We encourage TECNA Members to invite a few of their member companies as well to meet with their congressional delegation to introduce the member company and discuss policy priorities.
*Can you help me set up Legislative Meetings? Yes, TECNA can help you set up Legislative Meetings on Capitol Hill on April 10, but you are responsible for scheduling any additional meetings you hope to coordinate. Where should I stay? TECNA does not have a hotel block for the 2024 DC Fly-In. However, below is a list of hotel options that are within walking distance of many of our meetings and Capitol Hill. This list is not exhaustive, however, and you are welcome to choose other accommodations.

What is covered by the registration fee? The fees cover all room rentals, reception food, staff time, meeting materials and food during meetings. Hotel and travel accommodations are not included.
What is acceptable attire for meetings and the reception? We suggest business attire for all meetings on the hill. All receptions can be business or business casual.

You may request to cancel your registration for a full refund, up to two weeks (March 26, 2024) before the date and time the event begins. Cancellation requests made within two weeks of the event's start date may not receive a refund. When you register for this event, you agree to these terms.
