Description

The annual CEO Retreat is an excellent way for TECNA member CEOs and Executive Directors to get to know each other, share lessons learned and acquire new leadership skills and business development ideas. Our sessions respond to member needs and are designed to help CEO's grow their organizations.

The Program

- Monday, November 28:

4:30pm - Welcome Gathering and Opening Session with guest speaker, Rachel Llanes 

Dinner Reception

Evening Session - Session 2 with Rachel Llanes. 

- Tuesday, November 29:

Free Morning - Attendees are welcome to connect with your peers through any of the resort’s many optional activities. You can make reservations for activities directly through the hotel's website. TECNA Members are welcome to connect via the members-only Slack Channel to coordinate activities with others, you're responsible for making your own activity reservations. 

Afternoon Programming - Begins at 12:45pm with a boxed lunch during a panel discussion. Some sessions Tuesday afternoon will be for TECNA Members only.

- Wednesday, November 30

Morning Session scheduled through lunch - Guest Speaker, Thom Singer, new President of Austin Technology Council, speaking on " Uncommon Connections: Building a Stronger Inner Circle"

The Venue

Located in the heart of Phoenix nestled amongst palm trees and mountain ranges, forming a magical oasis at the base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, the Arizona Biltmore enjoys both a peaceful desert setting and the best of the city nearby. Building on the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural style, the Arizona Biltmore has been transformed into a resort of innovative delight and updated with a chic edge of its very own.

The Cost

Please note that your member registration fee includes the nights of November 28 and 29 at the resort, plus meals. You are separately responsible for your own travel to and from the resort. 

The Early-Bird Member Discounted Rate Deadline: September 15. 

The deadline to register for the retreat is Friday, November 4, 2022, but we encourage early registration. The registration cancellation deadline to receive a refund is November 4, 2022.

If you're planning to stay additional nights at the hotel, the discounted room rate is available for 3 days before and after the event. Please email Alina Hardy to request additional days at the hotel.

Travel

Please book your travel to arrive in Phoenix by 4:00pm on Monday, November 28, so you can attend the Welcome Gathering. Board Members, please arrive at the resort by 2:00pm on Monday. Please prioritize staying for the final morning’s session, and book your flights out of town Wednesday afternoon, November 30. 

The hotel is a short 20-30 minute car ride from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

Guests

If you plan to bring a guest with you to the resort, they are welcome to join us for dinner on Tuesday evening. Please register your guests on TECNA’s website registration for Tuesday’s dinner by Friday, November 11, 2022, so we can plan accordingly, there will be an additional cost.
