Pittsburgh, PA – (February 1, 2021) – Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer G. Young to CEO of the international membership council.
 
“We are pleased to welcome Jennifer as CEO of TECNA,” said Ryan Weber, TECNA Board Chair and President & CEO of KC Tech Council. “Jennifer is an experienced association executive who deeply understands how to deliver value to the industry we serve. Her skill set matched perfectly with the attributes we established for our search process.”
 
Young hails from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, and she most recently served as Senior Director of Policy and Public Affairs for Life Sciences Pennsylvania - a statewide trade association for Pennsylvania’s life sciences industry. Previously, she spent 11 years with the Pittsburgh Technology Council, a member organization of TECNA. Young is an experienced association executive who understands the important role TECNA member organizations play to support the technology industry throughout North America. 
 
“I am honored to join the TECNA team and work alongside the 60+ Tech Councils to collectively accomplish common goals,” Young said.  “TECNA is at an inflection point where it is poised to make a bigger impact on policy that promotes success and growth for the tech ecosystem.  I am excited to get to work!”
